Lawyer Ronen Oren Charity Organization


The Lawyer Ronen Oren Charity Organization is dedicated to helping those who cannot afford the services of an attorney. In one notable case, he won a woman's asylum based on religious discrimination. He also counsels various artists and participates in volunteer law clinics. He also co-chairs the Well & Good writing and pro bono program, which teaches associates sound writing principles and produces written work for partnering pro bono agencies.

Oren has devoted his career to helping others and has worked in legal services and private practice. He was a law clerk for U.S. District Court Judge Marilyn Hall Patel before joining a large firm. Oren was named "Lawyer of the Year" by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in 2019.

The Lawyer רונן אורן Charity Organization helps people in need of legal services. One recent success is a case in which an immigration court judge granted asylum to a Kyrgyz woman who was denied entry to the United States because of her religious beliefs. Other recent projects have included counseling various artists and participating in clinics with Volunteer Lawyer for the Arts. Oren joined the LCR in 2015 and serves as Litigation Director. His work includes all aspects of litigation, advocacy, and policy work.
