Saranac Lake, New York

The village of Saranac Lake encompasses portions of two counties and three towns. The county line is only two blocks from the village center. In 2010, there were 3,897 residents in the village, along with 1,367 in North Elba and 142 in St. Arma. The villages are not surrounded by the shores of any of the Saranac Lakes, but do border the northern reaches of Lake Flower, a large expanse of the Saranac River.
